Nestled on the southern tip of Eleuthera in The Bahamas, this vibrant destination is Disney Cruise Line’s newest private retreat. Lookout Cay leans heavily into Bahamian culture, art, and storytelling. Disney worked closely with local artists, historians, and cultural experts to ensure that this retreat is not only relaxing, but also rich with the spirit of the islands. Lookout Cay is filled with bright colors and Bahamian inspired architecture. It is a cultural experience wrapped in Disney magic.

When Lookout Cay was being designed, Disney kept environmental responsibility and sustainability at the forefront of their planning. For this reason, guests will navigate a 1/2 mile long pier that takes them from the ship to the island. By extending the pier from the shore to deep water, the need to dredge a ship channel was prevented, therefore protecting the water flow, marine life, coral, and sediment. While 1/2 mile might seem long, the 15 minute walk surrounds you with the vibrant colors of the Caribbean Sea providing beautiful picture opportunities. For guests with mobility challenges, a shuttle can be arranged. For guests traveling with littles, you may want to consider bringing a stroller with you onto the island.
Visits to Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point are available with select cruise itineraries departing from Port Canaveral and Fort Lauderdale. Whether you want to spend your day snorkeling, relaxing in a hammock, or dancing to Junkanoo drums, a day at Lighthouse Cay will be an unforgettable part of your Disney Cruise.
